CALIFORNIA & ARIZONA

CALIFORNIA & ARIZONA

California is a state located on the West Coast of the United States. It is by far the most populous U.S. state, and the third-largest by land area (after Alaska and Texas). California's diverse geography ranges from the Pacific Coast in the west, to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the east — from the Redwood–Douglas-fir forests of the northwest, to the Mojave Desert areas in the southeast.
Arizona is a state located in the southwestern region of the United States. It is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. Arizona is noted for its desert climate, exceptionally hot summers, and mild winters, but it also features pine forests and mountain ranges in the northern high country, with much cooler weather than in the lower deserts.
