AMERICAN MIDWEST & MID-ATLANTIC

AMERICAN MIDWEST & MID-ATLANTIC

The American Midwest is a large part of the Great Lakes region, although the latter also includes Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, and the Canadian province of Ontario. The region is part of the Great Lakes Megalopolis with and estimated 54 million people.
The Mid-Atlantic states form a region of the United States generally located between New England and the South. They have played an important role in the development of American culture, commerce, trade, and industry, yet it is one of the least self-conscious of American regions.
